Hayden very much followed in her Grandma’s footsteps when it came to part in home processing. Hayden did learn from her dad how to butcher rabbits at home from start to finish, but it became very evident her heart was in the later stages of processing.
Hayden spent her younger years working with her Grandma learning how to debone meat to get it ready for grinding. She also helped make all the jerky, sausage, patties, or whatever else we did before putting it into the freezer.

Up until early 2022, most of the time the children mainly got to take part butchering wild game at home.
However, in early 2022 the family’s dream of having a real farm came to life. This just furthered the families desire to have sustainable products raised ethically and processed on the farm.

This meant more animals at home and really showed how much the kids enjoyed this aspect of life, and were excelling at these practices. That is when the family decided to start the Mobile Processing Unit. It was always Chad’s goal to do whatever in his power to set up his children for future success, and this became a way to do just that. Ty expressed great interest in becoming his own business man and running and processing animals for others.
